GDT8x24RZ is the 2-channel RAID controller with two internal and two external connectors. GDT8x24RZ has been designed for use in high performance enterprise servers.
GDT8524RZ+ can optionally be upgraded with the ICP BBU (Battery Backup Unit) Battery Pack.
GDT8524RZ+BBU comes initial with a battery for full BBU support.
