Adaptec has you covered
Whether you need a PCI Express (PCIe) controller with a low port count, a high port count, internal connectivity, or external connectivity, the latest family of ICP Unified Serial RAID controllers has what you need.
Along with the industry's most advanced data protection, this new family delivers the most choices for connecting to high-capacity Serial ATA (SATA) drives and high-performance Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) drives, including the only currently available for PCIe and a low-profile form factor that is ideal for high-density servers and workstations.
All of these ICP Unified Serial controllers also offer the highest data protection available including RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 5, 10, 5EE, 6, 50, 60, plus one-view management with ICP Storage Manager™ across all ICP RAID controllers, and the broadest operating system support, including Windows Vista™.
PCIe RAID for internal, external or high-performance storage.
Use our new family of PCIe Unified Serial RAID controllers to connect SATA and SAS disk drives in the following ways:
- Internal storage with advanced RAID.
Use the ICP5045BL and ICP5085BL to connect to up to four or eight SATA and/or SAS drives inside your server or storage system. These cards come with an x4 lane and 256MB of high performance DDR2 memory. With an MD2 low-profile form factor, these cards will fit into any server, including high-density rackmount and blade servers.
- High performance external storage with path failover.
Use the ICP5805BL to build SATA and/or SAS solutions that scale to up to 60TB of storage (using 500GB drives). Plus, you'll get the industry's first redundant path failover to increase accessibility to your data. This card comes with an x8 lane, 800MHz processor, and 256MB of DDR2 memory for performance that stays fast as you scale to large capacities.
- Maximum scalability without losing performance.
Use the ICP5125BR or ICP5165BR to build high performance, large capacity SATA and/or SAS storage solutions with up to 60TB of storage (using 500GB drives). Attach directly to SATA and SAS midplanes with up to 12 or 16 disk drives or increase capacity using SAS expanders. With an x8 lane, 800MHz processing power and 256MB of DDR2 memory, your large capacity storage solutions will maximize performance and scalability.
